Last minute wellness salad
Ingredients
various seasonal fruits (for example: currants, pineapple, kiwi, raspberries, blackberries, avocado, blueberries, grapes, pears, apples, bananas, etc.), fresh seasonal vegetables (for example: radishes, cherry tomatoes, lettuce, gentilina lettuce, lamb’s lettuce, watercress, endive, rocket salad, mixed greens, fennel, radicchio, celery, etc.), aromatic herbs to taste (for example: mint, wild fennel, parsley, etc.), seeds to taste (for example: sesame, chia, sunflower, poppy, hemp, etc.), edible flowers as garnish, various dressings.
Method
This is a recipe that allows you to combine many fruits and vegetables you might usually have in the fridge. You can even fearlessly combine different flavours: the dressing will harmonise the contrasts. Cut all the fruit and vegetables into slices, rounds, or cubes. SAMURAI TRICK: for a stronger flavour, dress the salad with a quick citronette, made by emulsifying extra virgin olive oil, lemon, salt, and pepper. For a sweeter taste, substitute orange for the lemon and dilute with a bit of honey. Arrange the fruit and vegetables on the lettuce, pairing them by colour. To complete, sprinkle with seeds, aromatic herbs and, if you like, flowers.
